Johnny and Lillie Flynn announce new album ‘Beam Cottage’

Johnny and Lillie Flynn will release their new collaborative album, Beam Cottage, on November 6th.

The sibling duo have performed and recorded together before, but Beam Cottage marks a more personal look back, named after the house they grew up in before Johnny left for school and the pair lost their father, Eric, to cancer.

The 14-track album mixes new songs with cover versions the pair grew up on, alongside reworkings of material from Johnny’s extensive back catalogue that the two have played live together over the years. It was produced by Charlie Andrew, whose credits include Alt-J, Marika Hackman and London Grammar.

Ahead of the album, a new take on Johnny’s 2008 song ‘The Ghost of O’Donahue’ is out now, featuring South African vocal group The Joy.
