The Family Battenberg turn glam and garage punk into bubblegum pop on ‘Bed Bug’

Cardiff band The Family Battenberg have released new single ‘Bed Bug’, out now via Stolen Body Records.

The track is taken from the band’s debut album, Super Deluxe, due November 20th, and follows a run of live shows that has taken the band through SXSW and The Great Escape, plus support slots alongside Getdown Services.

Built on a mix of home-made 70s glam, garage punk and bubblegum pop, ‘Bed Bug’ runs a tight two minutes and 51 seconds, tailored for 45RPM. The track moves between the influence of Marc Bolan and Jack White, landing somewhere raucous and colourful with a heavy, primal stomp.

Super Deluxe is out November 20th via Stolen Body Records.
