Jungle release first-of-its-kind interactive video for ‘Back On 74’ single

Jungle have teamed up with WeTransfer to drop an one-of-a-kind interactive video for new single ‘Back On 74’ – the latest cut from their forthcoming album Volcano.

Jungle

‘Back On 74’ is the final single ahead of the electronic project’s fourth LP, which arrives 11 August – a soulful, melodic offering that follows singles ‘I’ve Been In Love’ (featuring Channel Tres), ‘Dominoes’ and Erick The Architect-featuring ‘Candle Flame’.

The track’s video is something rather special. Available on Jungle’s dedicated WeTransfer page, not only is it a suitably snazzy, nostalgic-feeling visual, but includes a random selection of 10,000 unique digital works, all of which were created by JUNGLE’s J Lloyd, and which constantly evolve to make every watch a unique viewing experience.

If that all sounds a bit wordy (don’t worry, this isn’t NFTs we’re talking about), then it’s worth simply watching the video by heading over to the unique page here. The video is available exclusively until the day of Volcano’s release, after which it will be promoted via WeTransfer’s global landing page, used by some 80 million monthly users.

With some tight-knit choreography, all captured in an impressive one-shot take, this digital aspect of the video also came together thanks to WeTransfer’s in-house Creative Studio and Emmy Award-winning Nexus Studios.

This project is also in-keeping with the visual emphasis placed on Volcano as a whole: the record has been announced alongside Volcano: The Motion Picture, also available from 11 August, which fans can access here.

Jungle – consisting of producers Josh Lloyd-Watson and Tom McFarland – are not only gearing up for the release of their new album, but are set to headline All Points East on 26 August before heading out on tour from September through November.
