Celebrating music, equality, and Barcelona’s vibrant culture, this year’s festival boasts international icons like Lana Del Rey, PJ Harvey, and The National. Here’s the Primavera lineup!
‘This Is Love’. That’s the slogan, and the vibe, as Primavera Sound Barcelona rolls out its 2024 lineup, and it’s like a love letter to music itself. With a retro graphic vibe that harkens back to the festival’s roots in 1994, this year’s Primavera Sound is a heartfelt nod to its own history and the city where it all began.
Set to return to its classic weekend format from 30th May to 1st June at Parc del Fòrum, the festival promises a lineup overflowing with talent, spanning across genres and eras.
Tickets are going on sale soon, with a fan sale kicking off on 23rd November, followed by the general sale on the 24th. Register for them here.
This lineup is a kaleidoscope of musical diversity and a testament to the festival’s commitment to equality (42.36% women, 42.36% men, and 15.28% mixed projects). Lana Del Rey and SZA, icons in their own right, will headline, each bringing their unique flair and monumental talent to the festival stage. And let’s not forget the punk ethos of Bikini Kill, reaffirming the ‘Girls to the front’ mantra.
Expect to be rocked by Pulp’s anthemic tunes, charmed by Vampire Weekend, and swooned with The National. Mitski is set to showcase why she’s more than just a cult figure, while PJ Harvey will unravel her many musical facets.
The festival isn’t just about big names; it’s about the joy of discovery. With artists like The Lemon Twigs, BADBADNOTGOOD, and DJ Playero, Primavera Sound is a treasure trove of musical gems waiting to be unearthed.
