The alt-rock outfit’s track marks their first new music since last year’s ‘The Left Side’ EP, and showcases a band brimming with confidence and energy.

It’s some way to kickstart their journey with revered indie label Dance To The Radio, where they can now count the likes of Annie-Dog, Terra Twin and The Pigeon Detectives as labelmates.

Have a listen to the track via its video below, which was directed by Aran Harris and features plenty of goth kid extras (as you’d expect).

Describing their latest single and its origins, the band have explained: “‘Goth Kids’ is the longest amount of time we’ve spent on a song – we’ve been working on it for over a year. It’s been a difficult process to get right but we believed in it the whole way through.

“Lyrically, it’s a song that almost wrote itself, I don’t want to overthink the music anymore, it just felt natural, although if it is about anything I suppose it’s about figuring out how you fit into the world.

“It’s a pretty important song to us and has brought us through into a new chapter for the band.”

Indeed, it’s certainly an intriguing new period ahead for the rising Leeds quarter – we wait to see what’s in store for them for the rest of this year.
