A sequel to Enchanted, Disenchanted sees the return of Amy Adams as Giselle, Patrick Dempsey as Robert, Idina Menzel as Nancy Tremaine and James Marsden as the hapless Prince Edward. Maya Rudolph joins them in the deliciously wicked role of Malvina Monroe.

A new trailer has dropped today, and you can check it out right here:

The film picks up ten years after the events of Enchanted, in which the Andalasian princess Giselle ended up in the real world by accident and fell in love with Robert.

From what we gather from the trailer, Giselle and Robert are settling in for a nice, suburban life in Monroeville. It all feels terribly alien to Giselle, who makes a wish to turn her life into a fairytale.

Oopsie daisy, the wish goes terribly wrong, Giselle is now under a curse, and the fates of Monroeville and Andalasia are in grave danger.

Disenchanted looks like it will be pretty wild and a chance for Adams to once again flex her comedic muscles, this time with an evil side as she morphs into a wicked stepmother for Robert’s teenage daughter.

Directed by Adam Shankman, the highly anticipated sequel will stream on Disney+ on November 18. For more trailers, check out our updated list of best film trailers out now.
