The tour will cover Doherty’s entire discography, including songs by The Libertines, Babyshambles and Doherty’s various other projects, such as Pete Doherty & The Puta Madres and last year’s collaborative album with French musician Frédéric Lo.
Beginning in Belfast’s Limelight venue on 13 April, Doherty will play across the UK and Ireland – including a number of O2 Academy venues in Bristol, Oxford and Sheffield – before concluding on 5 May at the Royal Albert Hall.
Doherty’s tour announcement comes some eight months following the release of his memoirs, A Likely Lad, put together by the music writer Simon Spence, which delves into his often turbulent time with The Libertines as well as the camaraderie and success of the band.
