You can sort of take part in an episode of Stranger Things from next week – and there’s unlimited time for shopping!
In line with the return of one of Netflix’s most popular shows, a ‘live multimedia experience’ set in and around the world of Stranger Things is heading to the UK.
It goes by the cunning name of Stranger Things: The Experience, and it’s already proven to be a hit in New York and San Francisco. The London launch will come over the summer, and it’ll replicate what’s already been working on the other side of the pond.
As such, ‘fans’ – or ‘paying customers’ – will be put in the midst of a storyline that’ll run parallel to the narratives of the show itself. Familiar locations such as Hawkins Lab, Upside Down and Scoops Ahoy have been recreated for the attraction. Visitors are promised the opportunity that they can get close to a Demogorgon too, something unfamiliar to current London residents.

The price of a ticket? A cool £39, and that gets you 45 minutes to explore the interactive exhibit and work through the narrative. Good news though! That entry price also allows you to spend unlimited time in the food and retail areas of the attraction. A relief that they’re not charging you extra to go in the shop.
Season four of Stranger Things lands on Netflix from May 27th 2022. The London Experience opens up next week, with tickets available for May 12nd onwards.
