The Zutons, the much-loved baroque-pop band from Liverpool, have just dropped a bombshell for music fans: their first new single in 16 years, ‘Creeping On The Dancefloor.’
It’s the first taste of their forthcoming album, The Big Decider, set to release on April 26th through ICEPOP Records.
The band’s first album in over a decade, The Big Decider has been produced by the iconic Nile Rodgers and Ian Broudie.
‘Creeping On The Dancefloor’ came to life during lockdown. “It’s one of those songs you want to hear again as soon as it’s finished and that’s always a good sign,” says lead singer and guitarist Dave McCabe.
McCabe reflects on the collaborative process, “Working with Nile was just an amazing experience, he gave me a confidence that I’ve never felt before making a record.”
