Tom Misch has released Six Songs, a new EP via Beyond The Groove / AWAL. This collection brings together tracks from throughout the year, including two new songs, highlighting his signature mix of R&B, jazz, and soul.
The EP opens with ‘Insecure’, a track driven by a catchy guitar riff and lyrics that explore vulnerability. Following this, ‘Cinnamon Curls’ offers a smooth R&B groove, while ‘Better Days’ brings a more optimistic tone to the mix.
The standout collaboration comes with ‘Colourblind,’ featuring rapper Loyle Carner. This marks a reunion between the two artists, who also performed together at All Points East this summer. Two new tracks are also included: ‘Invincible’, a disco-influenced tune, and ‘Falling For You’, recorded at Konk Studios with a lineup of musicians including Yussef Dayes and Rocco Palladino.
Six Songs showcases Tom Misch’s range, with a mix of introspective tracks and more upbeat, energetic moments. The EP continues to demonstrate his versatility, following recent collaborations with artists like Yussef Dayes and his alter ego Supershy.
