The singer-songwriter’s new record is set for release on 26 January via UROK and will mark his sixth studio album.

Odell’s catalogue to date has earned him some four billion career streams, BRIT and Ivor Novello Awards, and acclaim as an artist who’s found huge success whilst preserving their artistic integrity.

More recently, the singer has seen a renewed interest in his work, with TikTok users pining for his emotive output; the title track for his forthcoming album, for instance, received some 150 million streams on the platform.

And with the announcement of his new project, Odell has released the tender new single ‘Somebody Else’, which was co-produced by Odell and long-time collaborator Cityfall and which you can listen to above via the official lyric video.

Speaking on the new album and his approach towards making it, Odell has explained: “I recorded these songs between last winter and the spring of this year.

“I tried to leave them as ‘unproduced’ as possible with the hope that they would be the truest reflection of how I felt in that time. These songs mean a lot to me, and I can’t wait for you to hear them.”
