Warner Bros. releases first trailer for animated comedy Mummies

Brendan Fraser is making a comeback and so are mummies it seems! Warner Bros. have released the first trailer for their animated comedy Mummies. 

Set to the catchy new version of ‘Walk Like An Egyptian’, the trailer for Mummies gives us a glimpse of the new animated film, courtesy of Warner Bros. Pictures. 

There’s a secret underground world in Ancient Egypr where mummies live a peaceful existence. Three of them however, venture out into our world and somehow end up in present-day London where an adventure awaits for them.

An archaeologist, Lord Carnaby, has stolen an old ring which belonged to the Royal Family and somehow our three friendly Egyptian heroes get involved with that. Oh, and they have an adorable pet alligator. What else do you need from a film?

Mummies is directed by Juan Jesús García Galocha, who is making his feature film directorial debut here and the voice cast for the film includes big names like Hugh Bonneville, Joe Thomas and Sean Bean. 

The film is scheduled for release March 31, 2023.
