Brandon Nembhard is back with his new single, ‘Mind Your Manners,’ the second track from his upcoming EP If Not Now, When?, dropping 10th October. Known for his sharp lyricism, Brandon blends serious themes with an animated beat.
Produced by Dylan Hingston and Tobie Tripp, the track explores staying true to yourself while navigating society’s pressures. Standout lines like, “These aren’t lines you’ll find in a manor / Reaching heights, can’t climb on a ladder,” hit hard, while the title cleverly plays on “table manners” and wealth. Brandon also dives into his personal experience with knife crime, delivering raw and honest storytelling.
On the track, Brandon said, “‘Mind Your Manners’ is about knife crime, my experience with it, and the link to poverty. It’s a message to anyone caught up in the culture about the reality of it.”
Following his previous release ‘Ceiling’, this single sets a bold tone for the EP. Expect more compelling narratives and Brandon’s signature style. He’s also performing live at The Social on 23rd October – don’t miss it.
