London’s very own FelixThe1st has released his new single ‘Swan Song,’ from his eagerly awaited debut I Hope You Never Fit In, set for release on February 21st.
The single marks a significant step in Felix’s musical development, mixing bedroom-pop tunes with rock-infused riffs and his distinct grunge-tinged vocals.
‘Swan Song’ lays bare Felix’s vulnerable side, with lyrics like, “Lie to me and tell me that you’re scared to leave” resonating throughout the 13-track mixtape. This project is a deep dive into teenage angst, heartbreak, and the highs and lows of romance. At 22, FelixThe1st is showcasing a more mature side of himself, a far cry from the artist who burst onto the scene in 2021.
Winning a MOBO Award for Song of the Year last November with ‘Own Brand (Freestyle)’, Felix closed a significant chapter in his career. Yet, this was just a glimpse of his full creative potential. Known for his cat-like instincts, FelixThe1st has carved a niche for himself with his unique style, merging his love for WWE and rock and roll in his persona.
