Roughly a year ago, Tom Cruise single-handedly saved cinema with Top Gun: Maverick. Well, maybe not quite but the film was great and proved that people will still show up for big movies.
And it doesn’t get much bigger than Mission Impossible. The action franchise has been going strong since 1996 but it looks like Dead Reckoning Part One is the wildest one yet.

After a brief teaser trailer last year, we have been anxiously waiting for more and boy, does that trailer deliver.
“None of our lives can matter more than this mission,” says Ving Rhames’ Luther, to which Cruie’s Ethan Hunt replies: “I don’t accept that.”
There are, obviously, stunts galore in the new trailer. Cruise is well-known for his affinity to doing as many stunts himself as possible, and he keeps doing more and more batshit crazy stuff on camera!
The new film will feature a fight on top of a moving train, which apparently was a nightmare to shoot, as well as the already-iconic stunt in which Cruise rides a motorcycle off a cliff before deploying a parachute.
The trailer also arrived with a brand-new poster.

Vanessa Kirby, Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Henry Czerny, Simon Pegg and Esai Morales also star. Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part One will be followed by Part Two, which is currently scheduled for 28 June 2024.
Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning: Part One will be released in UK cinemas on July 11.
