Green Man 2024: Day-by-day line-up revealed for the sold-out music event

Wales' largest festival, Green Man, reveals a packed line-up for its sold-out event, promising an unforgettable celebration of music and arts.

Green Man Festival, set to take place from 15th to 18th August 2024, has revealed its day-by-day line-up for the sold-out event. Held in the scenic Black Mountains within the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park, this year’s festival promises a myriad of music, arts, and entertainment.

Joining the previously announced headliners Big Thief, Sampha, Jon Hopkins, and Sleaford Mods are experimental electronic music collective Kokoko!, rising star Lutalo, legendary punk band The Nightingales, and Sam Morton, a collaborative project featuring Samantha Morton and Richard Russell. Other new additions include HotWax, O., Harriet Jaxxon, Liz Lawrence, and Byrne’s Night, a Talking Heads tribute act.

The Chai Wallahs stage will feature acts like K.O.G, Spanish bass virtuoso Vincen Garcia, future-dub duo Omega Nebula, and TC & The Groove Family, ensuring the party continues well into the night.

Green Man has also announced the finalists for its Green Man Rising contest: Nature Kids, TTSSFU, Mari Mathias, Ladylike, and The Orchestra (For Now). These artists will compete for a chance to open the Mountain Stage, with the winner chosen by a panel of industry experts.

The festival’s charm extends beyond music. With ten distinct areas, attendees can enjoy art installations, a beer and cider tent, a children’s discovery area, teen workshops, and the science-focused Einstein’s Garden. More music, science, film, comedy, and literature line-ups will be announced in the coming months.

Those with Settler’s Passes will arrive on 12th August for a week-long experience, including discounts at local sites. This year’s tickets sold out in just two hours back in September.

Green Man 2024 runs from 15th to 20th August. Tickets are sold out.
