A vocal supporter of Donald Trump, another presidential candidate, West has officially said he will be running for president in the next election in 2024.
West posted his campaign logo on his socials with the caption ‘Ye 24’. He has also reportedly asked Trump to be his running mate. The rapper has also seemingly asked Milo Yiannopoulos, another controversial right-wing figure, to be his campaign manager.
West has been involved in several controversies recently and numerous brands have cut ties with him completely, which includes his lucrative Yeezy deal with Adidas. The rapper was spotted wearing a White Lives Matter t-shirt not too long ago at Paris Fashion Week and was also recently seen at Trump’s Mar-A-Lago golf club with Nick Fuentes, a far-right nationalist.
Adidas has also said it is now investigating claims that West showed porn in Yeezy meetings. Adidas cut ties with the rapper after the Paris Fashion Week incident.
West has also allegedly showed his own sex tape as well as an intimate photo of ex-wife Kim Kardashian to Adidas staff, according to Sky News.
