Khruangbin are making waves again with the announcement of their fourth studio album, A LA SALA, set to release on April 5th. Pre-order or pre-save here.

Accompanying this exciting news, the band have also dropped their lead single, ‘A Love International’, showcasing a wistful sound complemented by ghostly vocals and a dynamic guitar-bass duet.

The new album (translating to “To the Room” in Spanish) marks the band’s first LP in four years, and the accompanying video for ‘A Love International’, directed by Scott Dungate, perfectly mirrors the song’s wistful yet confident tone. Watch it for the first time right here:

Khruangbin’s journey in the music scene has been nothing short of remarkable. With their music touching on a wealth of inspiration, from 80’s pop icons like Tears For Fears and U2, to American roots music.

A LA SALA is a result of this journey, where the band have carefully pieced together ideas stockpiled over the years. It’ll feature seven different covers, inspired by Belgian artist René Magritte and designed by the band using Marko’s travelogue photos, representing daydream scenes and impossible skies, tying directly with David Black’s images of the band.

In recent years, the band has not only showcased their stage prowess through live LPs but also through meaningful collaborations, such as their work with Malian guitarist Vieux Farka Touré and the EP with Leon Bridges, pushing the boundaries of their sound.
