The latest trailer for Martin Scorsese’s new crime drama sees Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro facing down a sinister conspiracy. Check out the new Killers of the Flower Moon trailer below.
For anyone worried Killers of the Flower Moon would see Scorsese skirting his action-thriller roots, this new trailer should put them at ease. Charting a series of murders of the Osage people in the early twentieth century, the new look shows off plenty of oil, plenty of murder, and even a good explosion or two for good measure.

The film’s official synopsis says: “At the turn of the 20th century, oil brought a fortune to the Osage Nation, who became some of the richest people in the world overnight.
“The wealth of these Native Americans immediately attracted white interlopers, who manipulated, extorted, and stole as much Osage money as they could before resorting to murder. Based on a true story… ‘Killers of the Flower Moon’ is an epic western crime saga, where real love crosses paths with unspeakable betrayal.”

That true story is David Grann’s 2017 non-fiction book of the same name, which Scorsese has adapted along with screenwriting collaborator Eric Roth.
When Killers of the Flower Moon debuted at Cannes earlier this year, it received a rapturous reception from critics – we’ll just have to wait until 20 October for a UK cinema release.
