It’s official: Kings of Leon will headline NOS Alive 2025, marking their long-awaited return to Portugal after a 12-year hiatus. The Tennessee rockers are set to close the festival’s main stage on 12th July, bringing their anthemic choruses and soulful rock to the sunny Passeio Marítimo de Algés.
Joining Kings of Leon in this growing line-up are Australian punk rockers Amyl and The Sniffers, Norwegian indie sensation Girl in Red, and the ever-innovative Glass Animals, among others. The festival, running from 10th to 12th July, already boasts Olivia Rodrigo as its Friday night headliner.
For those unfamiliar with NOS Alive, think of it as a festival-goer’s dream: a picturesque riverside setting, legendary line-ups, and an atmosphere that keeps fans coming back year after year. Last year alone, it drew 165,000 attendees who witnessed over 120 performances across seven stages. This year looks to maintain its reputation as one of Europe’s premier music events.
The latest additions to the 2025 roster include Baltimore’s Future Islands and Irish country-pop star CMAT, performing on the festival’s second and third days, respectively. Meanwhile, fans can look forward to Glass Animals opening the festivities on 10th July with their chart-topping hits.
Not to be overlooked, The Teskey Brothers will also bring their soulful sound to the Heineken Stage on 11th July, fresh off their biggest European tour to date. And for those eager for new music, Mark Ambor will debut tracks from his album Rockwood on the NOS Stage the same day.
Whether you’re there to sing along to ‘Sex on Fire’ or discover your new favourite band, NOS Alive 2025 is shaping up to be another unforgettable summer festival. Tickets are on sale now, right here. Best not to wait too long, as this line-up is bound to sell fast.
