LCD Soundsystem are making a grand return to the UK in 2024, and are all set to headline All Points East on Friday 23rd August.

But it’s not just them – the lineup is stellar, featuring the enigmatic Jai Paul, alt-rock icons Pixies, plus Floating Points, Jockstrap, Nation of Language, Sofia Kourtesis, and Eyedress, with even more artists to be announced.

LCD Soundsystem, known for revolutionising the US music scene since 2002, are bringing their acclaimed blend of electronic and rock tunes back to London.

2022 saw them rocking a six-night residency at Brixton’s O2 Academy and releasing single ‘New Body Rhumba’. This year, they’re mixing things up, playing in select cities they love and working on new music.

Also taking the stage is Jai Paul, the British-Indian singer known for his hit ‘BTSTU’ and the leaked album Bait Ones. His return in 2019 and live performances in 2023 have been highly praised, and this All Points East appearance will be his first UK festival gig.

Don’t miss the Pixies either. With albums like Surfer Rosa and Doolittle, they’ve been a massive influence on the alt/rock scene. We had the honour to interview them last year about their latest album Doggerel, their split and later reuniting, and going out for dinner in Manchester with David Bowie.

Jockstrap, the duo of Georgia Ellery and Taylor Skye, are also on the bill. Their debut album I Love You Jennifer B and its re-imagined version have been turning heads, including ours. We sat down with the pair and were charmed beyond belief, prompting interviewer Archie Brydon to wonder if Jockstrap have the allure to even set up some kind of Northeast London cult one day.

All Points East 2024 is shaping up to be unmissable, especially with the addition of Loyle Carner on Saturday 17th August.

The ticket presale kicks off at 10am on Friday 1st December (TODAY!), running until 9am on Tuesday 5th December. General sales start at 10am on Wednesday 6th December. Grab your tickets at www.allpointseastfestival.com, starting from £54.95 +BF, with VIP options from £99.95 + BF. Payment plans and team tickets are available too.
