Seasick Steve shares new double single and details of huge UK & EU tour

Seasick Steve brings funk and soul to the forefront with 'Funky Music' and 'Let The Music Talk', setting the stage for a major UK/EU tour.

Seasick Steve

Nearly two decades after his iconic performance on Jools Holland’s Hootenanny, Seasick Steve is announcing his latest album, A Trip A Stumble A Fall Down On Your Knees, set for release this June via SO Recordings.

Alongside the news, he’s also shared two vibrant new tracks, ‘Funky Music’ and ‘Let The Music Talk’, and has detailed a sprawling UK and European tour.

Seasick Steve, known for his raw, soulful music and compelling live performances, is continuing his legacy with an album he describes as “my favourite album ever and the piece of work I’m most proud of to date.”

“This track is super fun to play! It’s just about funking it up. I have always loved funk! Bands like ‘Sly & The Family Stone’, ‘Tower Of Power’ you know, that was the influence here, it’s a soul thang!”

His journey from an unknown American singer-songwriter to a global phenomenon, selling over two million albums and gracing almost every major festival stage, is a testament to his enduring appeal. With his distinctive voice and storytelling, Seasick Steve has inspired a loyal following.

UK and European audiences can mark their calendars for a summer filled with Seasick Steve’s mesmerizing performances, from the stages of Latitude Festival and Black Deer Festival to iconic venues like London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.
