Strays Trailer | Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx cause trouble in canine form

In the first trailer for Strays, Will Ferrell will voice Reggie, a shaggy dog, whose owner is keen on getting rid of him. Teaming up Jamie Foxx’s Bug, Reggie tries to make it back to his owner. 

Universal Pictures have just dropped the first trailer for Strays, a raunchy new canine comedy. 

Think Homeward Bound meets The Lion King meets Pineapple Express and you’ve got Strays.

As you can see, Will Forte’s human really doesn’t want Reggie, but his attempts to ditch his dog have been unsuccessful so far. 

Lost in a city, Reggie finds Bug and his gang of dogs who gently try to tell Reggie he isn’t wanted and he’s better off as a stray. Reggies vows revenge, claiming he’s gonna rip his former owner’s penis off. 

The dogs get up to all kinds of trouble, including drinking beer out of bins (delightful) and eating some dodgy mushrooms which make them hallucinate each other in various animation forms. 

Joining Ferrell and Foxx in the impressive voice cast are Randall Park, Isla Fisher and Josh Gad, making Strays the comedy film of the summer. 

The film is in cinemas 9 June, 2023.
