The Goa Express have at long last announced their debut album, with the self-titled record set to arrive in October.

Following a number of single releases going all the way back to 2019, the five-piece will finally be putting out a full LP – which will include today’s brand-new single, ‘Talking About Stuff’.

Have a listen to the longing, sepia-toned new track via its video below, which includes footage taken from a homecoming gig in Todmorden, West Yorkshire.

Today’s announcement arrives just ahead of The Goa Express’ headline performances at Manchester’s YES, this Friday 26 May, and London’s Lower Third, next Wednesday 31 May. See here for further dates and to purchase tickets.

The Goa Express consists of frontman Clarke, alongside brother Joe and best mates Joey, Naham and Sam, who met as teeneagers in Burnley.

Like any band worth their salt, they shared their own love of seeing live gigs around Todmorden and Hebden Bridge when growing up, all of which can be heard in the spirit and influence on their releases to date.

By October, we’ll have a full sense of what that will entail on their self-titled debut album – the full tracklist and album artwork for which can be seen below.
