Newcastle’s The Pale White announce The Big Sad with new single ‘Lost In The Moment’

The Pale White return with their second album, The Big Sad, out 18th April, and UK tour dates in March. Don’t miss new single ‘Lost In The Moment’.

The Pale White

The Pale White are back, and they’re aiming for big things. The Newcastle alt-rock trio have announced their second album, The Big Sad, which lands on 18th April.

Alongside the album reveal, they’ve dropped a brand-new single, ‘Lost In The Moment,’ and announced a headline UK tour for March.

The single is a sonic journey, packed with high-impact guitar riffs, hypnotic vocals, and even tubular bells for good measure.

Describing the track, frontman Adam Hope says, “A special song to me. It’s about the feeling, or lack thereof, which suddenly washes over you when you least expect it… time freezes and you’re neither here nor there… just for a moment.”

The Big Sad promises to show a new side to The Pale White. Hope explains, “This is an album born from the ashes of dark times, but representing a beacon of light for the future. It’s the sound of a band that got tired of slamming on the fuzz pedal… and dares to try something new, dares to shock, dares to be great.”

The album is packed with 13 tracks, with everything from stillness and defiance to what Hope calls “furniture-shifting riffs.” It’s a bold statement from a band that’s gone back to its roots in Wallsend and Newcastle, producing and recording on their own terms for the first time.
