This year’s Wireless Festival will be delivered in three locations across two weekends, so there’s more room than ever for a flashy line-up. Dave, A$AP Rocky, Nicki Minaj, Tyler, the Creator – the list goes on.
Last year, Wireless Festival appeared to peak the moment ‘Hey Wireless, the boy is home’ flashed across the screen and out walked Drake, aka, Certified Lover Boy, for a surprise appearance alongside Future. It was the Canadian megastar’s first live performance since the pandemic began.
But now this year it seems festival organisers are hoping to push their zenith a stage further, announcing three locations across two weekends. The first weekend, 1st-3rd July, will be based at the 50,000-capacity venue at Crystal Palace Park, the same location as last year.
The festival will also return to its old ground, Finsbury Park – where it was based for five years from 2014 – on the weekend of 8th-10th July.
That same weekend, perhaps adhering to the government’s levelling-up agenda of promoting arts and culture beyond the London bubble, a new purpose-built site outside Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre (NEC) will host the third part of the festival.
The full list of the headliners that we know so far are as follows.
Crystal Palace Park (01 July – 03 July)
Friday – A$AP Rocky
Saturday – J. Cole
Sunday – Tyler, the Creator

Elsewhere, Little Simz will also be making an appearance at Birmingham, following her success at the recent BRIT Awards. Megan Thee Stallion, meanwhile, arguably the star of last year’s performers, will take to the stage in Finsbury Park.
