Australian DJ and producer Young Franco has teamed up with British indie artist Master Peace to release their latest single ‘Wake Up’. Available from today via Island Records UK and Of Leisure, the track is a vibrant mix of hip hop and punk-inflected vocals, highlighting both artists’ dynamic styles.
Young Franco described the collaboration: “Working with Master Peace has been an amazing experience. I found out about his project via his record ‘Eyes on You’ and wanted to work with him since that moment. I was writing a bunch of tracks in 2020. One of them being an early version of ‘Wake Up’, which I wrote with Elliot from Delta Riggs.

“I connected with Master Peace online and once I got to London last year, we smashed this in a couple of hours. His new record is fantastic, and I’m super excited about how this one turned out. Special mention to Danio from Husky Loops for some added production too.”
The new release is accompanied by a music video shot in London. The video depicts a day in the life of both artists through a first-person view and culminates in a dream-like sequence. The duo enjoys London’s iconic streets and taxis, enhancing the song’s urban feel. Watch it below:
2024 has been a prolific year for Young Franco, following a collaboration with UK rapper S1mba and a series of sold-out tours in Europe and the USA. With over 200 million streams and multiple festival appearances, Young Franco continues to solidify his position in the global music scene.
Master Peace, recognized as a fresh voice in British indie music and a 2023 AIM awards nominee, brings his own significant following and critical acclaim to the collaboration, having amassed over 82 million Spotify streams.
