Following Vogue’s cover feature on Margot Robbie and Barbie, Warner Bros. have just unleashed a brand new trailer for Greta Gerwig’s new film.

This new, full trailer finally gives us a better understanding of what Gerwig’s film is about. Robbie plays Classic Barbie, who suddenly starts noticing some anomalies in her perfect life, including the fact that her feet are always arched.
In the middle of a flashy dance number, she suddenly blurts out “Do you guys ever think about dying?”, causing widespread panic among all the other Barbies. She then sets on a journey to the Real World in order to uncover the truth of what is going on.
Of course, Ryan Gosling’s Ken tags along and it looks like the couple end up getting arrested on their travels. We also get a better look at Will Ferrell, who plays the head of Mattel, the company who makes the Barbie toys.
The film has one of the starriest casts of the summer, perhaps only matched by Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer, which coincidentally opens on the same day.
The trailer also gives us a little taste of Dua Lipa’s new song, ‘Dance the Night’, for the film. Dua Lipa will also appear in the film as Mermaid Barbie.
