Cillian Murphy stars as J. Robert Oppenheimer, the man who invented the atomic bomb.
The film will chronicle his life and moral struggle as he builds what will be the most lethal bomb in the history of mankind.

“They won’t fear it until they understand it,” we hear Oppenheimer say of his invention.
“They won’t understand it until they’ve used it.”
The words bear a lot of weight as we know exactly how destructive and deadly these things are. Nolan, always striving for authenticity, did recreate a nuclear explosion without the help of CGI for Oppenheimer, which is expected to be one of the biggest hits of 2023.
The trailer is accompanied by the mammoth, booming music by Ludwig Göransson, who also collaborated with Nolan on the score for Tenet.
The film also stars Robert Downey Jr., Jack Quaid, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon and Florence Pugh among many others.
Oppenheimer arrives in cinemas 21 July, 2023 and will face off against Greta Gerwig’s Barbie.
