During her 2023 gigs, Mayberry has performed other unreleased solo works, including ‘Change Shapes’, ‘Bird’, and ‘Mantra’. Additionally, she has offered covers of Madonna’s ‘Like A Prayer’, Adam Schlesinger’s ‘That Thing You Do’, and PJ Harvey’s ‘Down By The Water’.

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Chvrches’ 2013 debut album The Bones Of What You Believe, Mayberry performed a solo rendition of “OG deep cut” ‘Lungs’ last month. Chvrches also marked the milestone by releasing new versions of their first two singles and unveiling a special reissue of the album, set to include the previously unheard song ‘Manhattan’. You can pre-order the reissue, released 13 October, here.

Mayberry’s 2023 UK and European tour kicks off tonight in Glasgow, with additional dates in Birmingham, Manchester, and London. While a full-length solo album remains unconfirmed, Lauren’s current focus appears to be her impending single and ongoing tour.
