Rising indie folk sensation Nell Mescal has unveiled ‘Warm Body,’ a poignant new track that echoes with the ache of unresolved pasts and the daunting venture into new connections.
Fresh off the heels of a packed UK tour, this release serves as a prelude to her eagerly awaited EP, Can I Miss It For A Minute?, set to drop on May 3rd, 2024, through LAB Records.
Mescal, who has captivated listeners with her introspective narratives and raw emotional delivery, describes ‘Warm Body’ as a reflection on the struggle to leave behind old ghosts and the fear of losing those we cherish. The song, she notes, dives into the complexities of maturing and the intricacies of relationships, imbued with a longing for understanding and stability.
