Wide Awake Festival, South London’s own music haven, has announced a set of new additions to its 2024 line-up. The event in Brockwell Park is gearing up for a headline performance from the eclectic King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard.
The festival’s roster is already bursting with talent, including Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers, and it just got better. Joining the mix are shoegaze pioneers Slowdive, hot off their recent UK tour and a sold-out show at London’s Troxy. They’re set to play at the city’s Eventim Apollo come spring.
But that’s not all. Attendees can also look forward to a vibrant set from Berlin’s electronic sensations Modeselektor. Adding to this diverse musical landscape are Seattle’s La Luz, and NTS’s very own OK Williams.
The festival also welcomes The New Eves, Australia’s industrial-tinged HTRK, and New York’s noise-rock ensemble Model/Actriz, ensuring there’s something for every music enthusiast.
Tickets for this sonic extravaganza are available now (get them here), so mark your calendars: Wide Awake Festival 2024 takes place on 25th May.
