Their new single, ‘Meet Me In The City’, is described in a press release as a sunny Indie-Rock anthem “meant to be played in the sunshine with your mates.” The band say it’s “a carefree and fun track, written in Falmouth back when the biggest drama was who was sleeping with who and when the next party was.”

The boys have been turning heads for a while now. Their first album caught the attention of Huw Stephens, making it his ‘Album of the Week’ on Radio 1. With accolades from BBC 6 Music, Radio X, and BBC Introducing, and having opened for acts like Fontaines D.C., Paul Weller, and Liam Gallagher, The Velvet Hands are a band worth keeping an eye on.
