Truck Festival 2024 has added to its already glittering lineup, with Sophie Ellis-Bextor, The Amazons, Heartworms and more all joining the billing.

Thanks in no small part to the Barry Keoghan-featuring Saltburn, Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s undeniably catchy classic ‘Murder On The Dancefloor’ has been sent back up the charts – and now, the Kitchen Disco queen is set to be bring a feel-good set to Truck Festival this year, after being added to the lineup.

Truck Festival 2024 was already stacked with a number of impressive names, including Jamie T, Wet Leg, The Streets and Idles.

And that was only (less than) the half of it, with The Kooks, Declan McKenna, Holly Humberstone, Yard Act, The Snuts, Peace and many, many more also set to make their presence felt at the festival, taking place between 25 and 28 July at Oxfordshire’s Hill Farm.

As well as Ellis-Bextor, newly-added names also include Reading rockers and “true Truck royalty” The Amazons, Speedy Wunderground signee Heartworms and Birmingham’s buzzy band Overpass

Rave-punks VLURE, Chess Club Records’ own SOFY and Galway four-piece The Clockworks have also all been added to the billing.

Speaking about her excitement for playing this year’s Oxfordshire get-together, Sophie Ellis-Bextor has said simply: “Oh wow, I’m incredibly excited to be playing this year’s Truck Festival!

“To be on a line-up with so many amazing artists is wonderful, and I can’t wait to party with you all under the sunshine.”

Tuck festival favourites The Amazons, meanwhile, have added: “We’re thrilled to be returning to Truck this summer. It’s a festival that holds a special place in our hearts as the first main stage we ever played.

“It’s time for another milestone this year, in front of one of the best crowds in the UK.”

And as well as guaranteed musical must-sees, there’s also an impressive offering on their Comedy Programme, with names you’ll recognise from our TV screens and online, including Simon Brodkin, Angelos Epithemiou, Emanuel Sonubi, Andrew Maxwell, Olivia Lee, Phil Ellis, Jarred Christmas, Andy Askins and more.

With such an offering it’s not hard to see why there are only a handful of Tier 2 tickets left, which are on-sale now from the Truck Festival website – and check out the full lineup via the poster below.
