Have a listen to Cardinals’ latest track, ‘Unreal,’ to accompany their inaugural headlining tour across the UK and Ireland.
‘Unreal’ is a vivid follow-up to their acclaimed debut ‘Roseland’. Frontman Euan Manning says, “Unreal was written in the back of a Ford Transit van that I happened to be living in at the time. It reminds me of warm days spent on the beaches at home back in Cork.”
This song, alongside ‘Roseland,’ marks a significant moment for the band, reflecting maturity and harmony that have quickly become their hallmark. Their early work, including the self-released ‘Amsterdam’ and its B-side ‘The Brow,’ set the stage for this moment, generating buzz and solidifying their presence in the Irish music scene.

Their journey from enigmatic live shows to earning the admiration of figures like Fontaines D.C.’s Grian Chatten, who labelled them “one of my favourite new bands,” underscores their rapid ascent.
