Following the release of his seventh studio album, Autumn Variations, Ed Sheeran has delighted fans with an additional live album, Autumn Variations (Fan Living Room Sessions), featuring intimate performances in the homes of fans. The bonus album consists of recordings capturing Sheeran’s surprise performances of his latest tracks in fans’ living rooms. Accompanying the live recordings, the singer-songwriter plans to release videos from these 14 personal shows at 1pm EST (6pm BST) today. Proceeds from both Autumn Variations and its live counterpart will partially benefit the Save the Music Foundation. Marking a departure from his typical large-scale releases, Sheeran has chosen not to offer any other videos for this album cycle.

The intimate home sessions were part of Sheeran’s North American leg of the recently concluded Mathematics Tour. This latest album follows his other 2023 release, – (Subtract), which featured his initial collaboration with Aaron Dessner of the National. Autumn Variations continues their joint musical exploration, with Dessner involved in all but one track. This release also marks the first album launched on Sheeran’s label, Gingerbread Man Records.
