Writer-director Sean Anders brings his new festive film to AppleTV+ this November. Spirited tells the classic Dickens tale of “A Christmas Carol” from a different perspective.
Will Ferrell plays the Ghost of Christmas Present who haunts Reynolds’ Clint Briggs. Clint, however, is not in the business to bettering himself and Present is in for the challenge of his ghostly life.

Telling the story form the ghosts’ perspective is certainly a new way to do Dickens and we are very into it. Mix that with the charisma of Reynolds and Ferrell’s comedy chops and you’re got a winner.
As you might have guessed, Spirited is a musical. The songs are crafted by the masterminds behind La La Land’s catchy tunes, Benj Pasek and Justin Paul. Chloe Arnold is in charge of choreographing the numbers.
