It’s been a long old while since we’ve seen Griff doing a live solo show in the UK, but following a series of global tours with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Dua Lipa and Florence and the Machine, the 22-year old singer-songwriter has promised an “intimate” gig at Hackney’s EartH venue next month.

Revealed as a one-off show scheduled for 18 October, the gig comes around just after the release of her latest single, ‘Vertigo’.

“[The song] refers to an emotional state – always feeling upside down. Experiencing love and growing up, it always feels like the world and my emotions are spinning faster than I can keep up with,” Griff said of her new track. “‘Vertigo’ is the beginning of a new creative chapter for me, and I’m excited for us all to go on this journey together.”

Also in the pipeline for Griff is her much-anticipated debut album, which will be the follow-up to 2021 mixtape One Foot in Front of the Other.
