The London Film Festival lineup is out today, as the BFI announce the films in official competition alongside headline galas and special presentations.

Every UK film-fan’s favourite month of the year is fast approaching, and as hype builds for the BFI London Film Festival 2023, the organisers have published the list of films gracing the British capital this year.

The list of hopeful indies from around the world joins the likes of Chicken Run 2: Dawn of the Nugget, Emerald Fennell’s Saltburn, Daniel Kaluuya’s The Kitchen, Martin Scorcese’s Killers of the Flower Moon and David Fincher’s The Killer, which are just some of the higher-profile releases heading to the festival in October.

These high-profile releases are generally found in the ‘Headline Galas’ section, with a big film showing on almost every day of the festival. They join a series of films from cinema auteurs from Britain and across the globe in the festival’s different ‘Strands’, which this year include titles based around the themes ‘Love’, ‘Debate’, ‘Laugh’, ‘Dare’, ‘Thrill’, ‘Cult’, ‘Journey’ and ‘Create’.

Check out the full list of films at the BFI London Film Festival below:
